Your Framer API key is stored in two places: locally in your browser and on our backend server — both encrypted with AES-256-GCM, an industry-standard encryption method.

The server-side storage is necessary so that scheduled publishing can work in the background, even when your browser is closed. Your key is only ever decrypted in the moment it's needed to communicate with the Framer API — it is never logged or exposed.

Your API key is used exclusively to power this plugin's functionality (e.g. scheduled CMS publishing) and will not be shared with third parties or used for any other purpose.
