Frost Ring

Cards on a 3D ring, framed in frosted glass. It turns slowly on its own, and can be dragged and flicked.

Six to twelve items look best. Works on light or dark backgrounds; set Glass and Edge to suit.

Controls

• Items: Image, title, caption and link per card.

• A11y Label: Name read out by screen readers.

• Card Width: Card width on desktop and tablet.

• Phone Width: Card width on phones.

• Height Ratio: Card height as a multiple of its width.

• Spread: Size of the ring. Bigger spreads cards apart.

• Perspective: Depth. Lower is more dramatic.

• Tilt: Camera angle above or below the ring.

• Auto Spin: Automatic turn speed. 0 is off. Pauses on hover and off screen.

• Snap: Settle on the nearest card after a drag.

• Inertia: How long it keeps turning after a flick.

• Glass: Glass tint over the frosted frame.

• Edge: Glass edge and highlight colour.

• Frost: Blur in the frame.

• Inset: Width of the glass frame around each photo.

• Back Opacity: Opacity of cards on the far side.

• Radius: Card corner radius.

• Titles: Show the front card's title and caption.

• Font: Title font.

• Title Color: Title colour.

• Caption Color: Caption colour.

Phones, dark mode, Arabic

Smaller cards (Phone Width); drag sideways while the page still scrolls. With reduced motion it never turns on its own and stops at once when let go. Arrow keys turn it one card. Colour controls take your tokens, so dark mode follows the theme, and it works on Arabic right-to-left pages.
