About House of Layigbadė

Overview

House of Layi Gbadé is an emerging fashion label with a strong visual identity and a growing collection of ready-to-wear pieces. CraftVra designed and built its digital storefront in Framer, combining an editorial fashion experience with a custom ordering system built around direct payments and WhatsApp.

The goal was to create something that felt more like an extension of the brand than a conventional online store while giving the team control over products, collections, and editorial content without relying on a traditional e-commerce platform.

The Brief

The brand needed a premium digital storefront that could support direct customer orders without introducing unnecessary platform fees or compromising the visual experience.

It also needed to be simple enough for the team to manage independently as new collections and editorial content were introduced.

The Build

Direct payment experience A custom checkout drawer was created to support multiple payment methods and currencies, allowing customers to complete payment directly rather than being pushed through a conventional third-party storefront.

WhatsApp order routing Cart details, customer information, sizing, and payment information are structured into an order payload and passed directly into WhatsApp, creating a simple bridge between the website and the brand's existing sales workflow.

Editorial commerce The storefront combines product discovery with an editorial visual language, allowing the collection to feel like part of the brand story rather than a conventional product catalogue.

Flexible CMS Products, collections, and editorial content are managed through a structured CMS, giving the team the ability to update the experience as the brand evolves.
