About Longform
Longform makes your Framer CMS articles read like a real publication, without editing every post.
Pick your blog collection, tick what you want, press Preview, then Apply. Nothing is written until you have seen what will change.
Written into your CMS
Reading time: a number field and a ready-made label ("6 min read"), with your own words per minute. Counts Japanese, Chinese and Korean text properly.
Related posts: a reference field filled from shared topics and similar wording.
Excerpts: fills empty excerpts from the first paragraph. Your own text is kept unless you choose to replace it.
Heading check: reports an h1 inside the article, skipped levels, empty and duplicate headings. One tick fixes the h1 and removes empty headings.
Reading components for your article page
Contents: an "On this page" list that follows the section being read and collapses on phones.
Reading progress: a hairline bar at the top of the screen.
Article Enhancer: heading links you can copy, callouts from a plain quote that starts with [!NOTE], [!TIP], [!WARNING] or [!IMPORTANT], numbered notes you can jump to and back from, image zoom, an arrow on links that leave your site, and a back to top button.
Safe by design
Preview first, with the exact fields it will create.
Run it again any time: it only changes what changed.
Only touches the fields you ticked and leaves Framer's own layout alone.
Respects Reduced Motion. Works in light and dark.
