Launched: Time Tracker β automatic billable time tracking, built into Framer
Hey everyone! Just shipped my new plugin, Time Tracker, and wanted to share it here first.
The problem it solves: if you bill clients hourly (or just want proof of what you actually did in a session), you're probably switching to Toggl, Harvest, or a spreadsheet to log time β completely disconnected from the work itself. I got tired of that gap, so I built a timer that lives inside Framer.
How it works:
Open your project, start the timer, keep designing
It auto-pauses when you step away (configurable idle threshold) so you're not billing for coffee breaks
Tag sessions ("Homepage redesign," "Client revisions round 2") for cleaner reports later
The part I'm most excited about: each session automatically logs what you actually changed β pages edited, elements touched β so your time entry isn't just "2.5 hours," it's "2.5 hours β edited Homepage hero, updated pricing table." No other time tracker can see inside your Framer project like this.
Reports tab gives you totals by day/week/month, tag breakdowns, and one-click CSV or text export ready to paste into an invoice.
Right now it's free while in early access β including features I'll eventually put behind a Pro tier (auto-start on panel open, per-project rate overrides). Figured it's the right way to get real feedback before locking anything down.
Would love for anyone who bills hourly to try it and tell me what's missing. Screenshots below
Happy to answer questions about how the idle detection or change-tracking works if anyone's curious β built entirely on Framer's plugin API, nothing external.
