Framer Agents are genuinely useful, especially for speeding up repetitive work.
But the “Out of credits” experience is frustrating.
I’m a designer. I design websites for clients and create Framer templates, and I use Framer Agents to speed up repetitive parts of my workflow.
So when I run out of AI credits, why would I upgrade my website plan just to use more AI credits?
Right now, when the credits are exhausted, the only option presented is:
“Your workspace has used all of its available credits this month.
Upgrade.”
But I don’t need a bigger website plan. I just need more AI credits.
There should be an option to buy additional AI credits separately.
For designers building client websites and creating templates, forcing an entire plan upgrade just to access more AI credits doesn’t make much sense.
Framer Agents are good, and I use them as a productivity tool for repetitive work, not as a replacement for the actual design process.
The credit system just needs more flexibility.
Let users buy extra AI credits without forcing them to upgrade their entire website plan.

100+ followers! 🚀 Grateful for everyone who’s joined the journey so far. Excited to keep sharing Framer builds, experiments, and learnings with this amazing community.
Everyone is worried about more competition on the Framer marketplace. I'm excited about it.
After Framer opened the marketplace so anyone can submit templates, I saw a lot of people saying it will become overcrowded and turn into a fish market.
But why is that necessarily a bad thing?
If a buyer has $49 to spend on an agency template, do you think they'll choose the cheap, poorly designed option or the one that's polished, professional, fully functional, and clearly provides more value?
Most buyers will choose quality.
That makes this a win-win situation.
Buyers get more choices and better templates.
Creators are pushed to raise their standards and build products that genuinely stand out.
The market hasn't become worse. The bar has simply moved higher.
The opportunity is still there, it's just no longer enough to build another average template.
Now it's time to create premium, high-quality products that people actually want to buy.
Am I the only one who thinks the new Community feature is actually better than the Agent update in @Framer 3.0? 🤨
No more review system on Framer Marketplace. Anyone can publish anytime now.
It's a race to build a strong brand in an open marketplace. Your templates will either go viral or get buried under a flood of low-quality submissions.
The opportunity is bigger than ever, but so is the competition.
