I stress-tested Glimpse by making it my own portfolio.

There’s a big difference between building a portfolio template around perfect demo content and asking it to handle an actual designer’s work.

So before calling Glimpse finished, I did the latter.

I moved my entire portfolio into it.

Real projects. Different case study lengths. Journal entries. Services. Experience. Different amounts of content across different pages.

And inevitably, I found edge cases.

Things that looked perfectly fine in the original template became much more obvious once real content started pushing against the system.

So I fixed them and kept using it.

Then I tested something else I cared about:

SEO.

My Glimpse-powered portfolio currently ranks #2 on Google for “Shreyansh Shrivastava UX,” right below LinkedIn.

That matters because Glimpse was never supposed to impose its identity on the designer using it.

The system can be Glimpse.

The portfolio should still be yours.

Your work. Your content. Your identity. Your search presence.

Glimpse has now gone from a template I built to the portfolio I actually use.

And I think that's a much better test than any demo I could have made.

59:T4bb,

I wanted a page loader that felt more like an entrance than a loading state.

So I built one.

Curtain Loader V2 is a Framer Code Component where the entire entrance can be shaped from the Property Panel.

Horizontal. Vertical. Wipe. Cinematic. Water. Snap. Simultaneous or offset.

Then there’s the fun stuff — procedural folds, seams, custom branding, reveal effects, playback modes, skip behavior and timing controls.

The interesting part wasn't making the curtains move.

It was making all of that work as a reusable Framer component without messing with the site's existing animations, transforms or layout.

That meant rebuilding the reveal architecture so the loader stays completely isolated from the page underneath.

This is v2.4 — the version I'm actually happy putting into real Framer projects.

Coming to the Framer Marketplace soon.

Currently free with Glimpse.

Which direction would you use?

Two buttons. Two different philosophies.

Button 1 — clean fill transition. Does the job.

Button 2 — the active state doesn't just appear. It rolls in.

One feels expected. One makes you hover again just to watch it.

I am confused as to which one i should use in Hero and on the Footer

Which one would you ship? 👇

A small one for the Framer community.

I just made Curtain Loader — a simple fullscreen curtain reveal for Framer.

No unnecessary effects. Just a clean, cinematic entrance for your next project.

Free to use.

Would love to see what you create with it.

First Impression is now free.

But I don't want to see 100 copies of the same portfolio.

Remix it. Break it. Make it yours.

Try completely different color systems. Change the typography. Rework the layout. Add your own interactions. Push the motion. Take it somewhere I didn't think of.

I want to see what you create with it.

Drop your remix below — I’d genuinely love to see it.

First Impression just got a little better.

I completely reworked the Services section.

The goal was simple: make it feel less like a list of services and more like an actual showcase of what I can do.

Here's the new version ↓

Old or new — which one would you choose?

I spent almost an hour adjusting the swing physics for this interaction.

Not because it was broken.

Because it didn't feel right.

Tiny details like this rarely get noticed, but they completely change how an interaction is perceived.

That's been my favorite part of building Dangle—giving every interaction just the right amount of personality. Making every prop Customisable was a big challenge.

If you were shipping this, would you keep tweaking it or call it done?

I originally built HeadlineFX as a premium Framer component.

But for this weekend, I'm making it completely FREE until Sunday.

You get: ✨ 6 premium text animation styles ⚡ 5 trigger modes 🎛 Fully customizable controls 🧩 No code required 🚀 Built entirely for Framer

If you've been wanting to add polished headline animations to your portfolio or landing pages, now's the time.

After Sunday, it'll go back to being a paid component.

Grab it, remix it, and let me know what you build.
