A template for hostels, backpacker stays and co-living spaces, designed around how hostels actually sell: beds, experiences and direct bookings.

A few things I focused on: • Rooms CMS with dorm, private and female-only filters, bed counts and badges • Activities with guest vs visitor pricing and a sticky booking sidebar • A book-direct price comparison section • A booking request page, or point "Book now" to Booking.com or any booking engine • Named colour and text styles, so a rebrand takes minutes

Good animation isn't about adding more effects.

It’s about making the right interaction feel natural.

In my Sync Scroll Slider, the animation is built around one simple idea: scrolling should feel connected to the content.

A useful Framer component dev tip I learned from a recent Marketplace review

If your component uses Lottie, video, or continuous animations, don't let them keep running when they're off-screen.

Use IntersectionObserver to pause playback when off-screen and resume when visible.

Small optimization → better performance → better Framer components. This came up while improving my Thumbnail Slider Max component.

Bento Grid layouts look simple... until you try building one in Framer.

This layout took way longer than a standard landing page section because of:

✦ Custom curved center cutout

✦ Responsive overlapping cards

✦ Perfect border-radius alignment

✦ Layered gradients and shadows

✦ Pixel-perfect spacing across breakpoints

✦ Clean, reusable component structure The goal wasn't just matching the design. It was making it fully editable inside Framer without breaking responsiveness.

If you've ever tried recreating this type of layout, you know the clipping and overlapping sections are where most of the time goes.
