🔤 Text Styles in FramerKit

Opened a ready template, went into text styles and changed the heading font. Then again. And again

Every heading on the page updated at once. Switched to dark, changed it one more time, still the whole page

Then did the same with the subheadings

No clicking through sections one by one. One style, the whole page follows 🙂

🌙 SaaS Template, Light and Dark

Quick one today

Added a full SaaS template to a blank Framer page with FramerKit. One click, the whole page is there 🙂

🎨 How Design Colors Work

Every FramerKit section is linked to shared color styles in your project. Background, Surface, Border, Text, Accent. Each one has a light and a dark value

So when you change one token, every section that uses it updates. Not per section, the whole page at once

🤝 Looking for People to Build With

I've been working on FramerKit for a while now. Sections, components, templates, and design colors, right inside a Framer plugin

It's growing slowly in the Marketplace, and I'd love to grow it together with people who actually use Framer every day

So I'm looking for:

• Framer creators and YouTubers who make tutorials • Template makers who want to build faster • Anyone who likes the plugin and wants to share it

What I can offer: free full access to FramerKit. If you try it and share honest feedback, a review, or a video, that already helps a lot

For creators with an audience, I'm also open to a revenue share. Happy to talk about what works for you

No big agency stuff. Just one developer and a plugin 🙂

If this sounds interesting, leave a comment here, message me on X @framer_kit, or email support@framerkit.site

✨ Try the FramerKit plugin demo

Open the FramerKit plugin and click Continue in Demo

Inside, go to Templates. In every template category, the first template is free to try

Insert it into your project, switch between light and dark themes, change the text styles and play around with it

You can try the plugin, see how the sections work and get a feel for FramerKit before buying anything

Try the demo and see how it works ↓

▶️ Canvas live preview

Finished live preview for the demo canvas on the site

You drop sections on the canvas, pick light or dark and a Design Color, then press Play

Resize it, or switch Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile. The layout follows the frame

Hope you like it 🙂

🧩 Adding a Template to the Canvas

FramerKit has ready-made Templates right in the plugin

They're grouped by category, so you can find what you need without scrolling through everything

Each template has a proper preview. You see the whole page before you add it, not just a small thumbnail

One click and the template is on your canvas

All templates also work with themes right from the plugin:

• switch between light and dark

• pick a Design Color

• change the look without touching every layer

Feels much faster than putting a page together section by section 🙂

Here's a short video of how it works

🛠 Checkout inside the plugin

You can now buy FramerKit without leaving the plugin

I built the checkout with Polar right into the plugin window. Pick a plan, pay, and that's it

Once the payment goes through, you're signed in automatically. No license key to copy, no extra steps. The full library is ready to use straight away

Tax is now included in the price, so the amount you see is the amount you pay

🛠 Plugin demo on the site

I added a FramerKit plugin demo to the website

It looks just like the plugin: a panel with every category, and a canvas next to it. Pick a section and it lands on the canvas. Drag the next one between the sections already there, or remove the ones you don't need

Every section from the plugin is there to try, including the ones that aren't free

The canvas shows Desktop, Tablet, and Phone side by side, so you can see how the page holds up on every screen as you add sections

It's already live, so you can try it right now on framerkit.site 🙂

💡 A Small FramerKit Detail

When you add a section to a page without Tablet and Phone breakpoints, FramerKit pauses the insertion and reminds you to create them.

Once both breakpoints are ready, the reminder disappears automatically and you can continue.

You can also close it and add the section without creating the missing breakpoints.

It’s a small guardrail — helpful when you need it, but never mandatory 🙂

🎨 15 Color Themes for FramerKit

Switching the theme changes the entire plugin, its interface and every preview inside it

All sections, components, and complete templates are prepared for every color theme, in both Light and Dark modes. Interactive previews follow the selected colors too

• 15 color themes

• Light and Dark modes

• 17,037 generated preview assets

What looks like one simple theme switch is backed by thousands of still previews, motion files, and color combinations across the whole library

🛠 A New Version of FramerKit

I’ve been quiet here for a while, and this is why

I’ve been rebuilding a big part of FramerKit from the inside

What started with combining Light and Dark into one section became a much bigger update to how the entire plugin works

In this video, I add different sections directly to the Framer canvas and then switch the theme

The colors, styles and connected elements update automatically across every section

Then I switch Framer to Dark and the same sections follow without adding separate Dark versions or rebuilding the page

There is a lot more in this update, including a new theme system, connected typography, complete templates and many improvements across the plugin

I’ll show each part properly in the next posts

This took a huge amount of work, but I’m really happy with the result

I hope you’ll like the new FramerKit too 🙂

🎨 One Section. Light & Dark

I finally got this working

Until now, every section in FramerKit had to exist twice. One Light version and one Dark version

Now it’s just one section

Switch the Appearance in Framer and the section switches with it. The colors, text styles and everything connected to them follow automatically

This is a pretty big change for FramerKit. It means I can stop maintaining two versions of the same section and start converting everything to a single one

There are a lot of sections to convert, but I’m really happy I finally figured this out

This one feels like a real breakthrough for the plugin ✨

🎨 Wireframe or Design?

Some people prefer starting with a blank structure and building the design themselves

Others would rather start with something already designed and make it their own

That’s why FramerKit has both

Try it for free in the FramerKit plugin demo ✨

✨ Attach styles on insert

This is probably the part of the new update I’m happiest with

I’ve wanted this for a long time

Pick a heading font, pick a body font, turn on Attach styles on insert, and that’s it. Every section you insert already uses those styles. The same works when inserting a full template

I tried to make this work more than once, but it never felt right. Headings and body styles would fight each other, or the style simply wouldn’t stick

This time it finally works the way I wanted

You can try it for free in the FramerKit plugin demo

🚀 FramerKit Plugin Update

The new version is finally live

I completely rebuilt the plugin interface, improved the dark theme, redesigned the cards, pricing and navigation, and added 50+ new fonts with better Text Styles support

The biggest difference you’ll probably notice right away is the speed. The plugin now feels much more responsive, smooth and fast. Previews appear earlier, templates scroll smoothly, and switching between sections feels much more immediate

Under the hood, I migrated the plugin from framer-plugin 2 to @framer/plugin 4 and rebuilt the permission checks around insert, styles and text styles

I also fixed licensing, favorites, catalog JSON, login and a lot of smaller details across the plugin

After a lot of feedback, fixes and changes, the new version is finally available 🎉

🚀 New FramerKit update coming soon

I’ve been working on a big update for the plugin

A lot has changed, both visually and under the hood

The new version is coming very soon

🛠 Site polish

Plugin’s in review, so I’m spending time on framerkit.site, bringing things into order

Added a soft page background. Before it was just plain white - a bit harsh on long scrolls. Now it’s a calmer off-white that sits nicer with the cards and sections

Also added animated section dividers. Same grid snakes as on the hero — when a section comes into view, they run out from the center. I’d been wanting to reuse that idea somewhere, and it finally clicked here

Love these small details. They don’t shout, but they make the page feel alive 💜

🛠 Catalog Cards

Updated the group cards on the site

Before, each card just flipped on its own. Random preview, no idea how many variants were inside

Now it only cycles on hover. Still random, just not by itself

Five squares appear in the middle. The active one is bigger. After two seconds it shrinks, the next one grows, and the preview changes

On the right there’s a layers icon with a number. That’s how many sections are in the group. Hero, Buttons, same idea

📬 Plugin Review

- Isaac (before): “Hey, this link is broken and the style doesn't switch. Please fix”

- Moderator from Community (now): “Please implement appropriate error handling around project-modifying operations and provide clear user-facing feedback when an operation fails.”

Any plugin developers out there feeling this? 😅
