I had several goals for the hero section of Norde's website:

1. Build an experience that invites creativity. By creating a hero that allows users to draw on the screen, we're offering the opportunity for users to feel a little more creative. And at Norde, we love helping clients tap into that energy.

2. Create something conceptual to celebrate the collaborative relationship between client and studio. This prototype ditches the classic agency showreel for a hero that only comes to life with user input.

3. Build some clever UX to convey Norde's slogan, "Good design picks up where words leave off." In this version, the slogan invites you to press a button that pulls you into the next section of the site.

Here's a glimpse of the prototype. Pushing live later this week!

A ton of new updates just landed on the Thornton template. In a world full of soft, rounded edges, Thornton stands squarely in the realm of hard corners, tight grids, and a taste of retro futurism. It's 100% free, so please, get in there and have some fun with it!
