My template in progress is coming together nicely. I added the final project videos and almost all of the final project images and gave the project detail pages a nice sidebar with expandable content.
Gotta put it on the shelf again for now while I do more client work. But I really like how it's coming out so far.
Cleaned up my expert profile today since they made some new changes, and I decided to throw my portfolio site on there as well for good measure.
I haven't been posting much, but that doesn't mean I stopped working.
Here's a quick clip showing my template in progress that I've been working on little by little in between some client work. Right now I'm nailing down the CMS-based project index and detail pages. I'd say the template is still only like 30-40% done, but I'm in no rush.
This will be my first template on the marketplace and I don't want it to look like some quickly thrown together nonsense. No AI was used nor will any AI be used in the creation of this template layout. Nor will I likely use AI in my future template creations.
It might not look like it, but so far this is the most dynamic and complex mobile navigation I've made so far.
It is using CMS logic to automatically populate all the dropdown and overlay content as new pages are added. There are parent pages and also sub-pages that are both independently accounted for. Over 30 service pages are all linked up in this compact dropdown which I consider a big win when it comes to overall UX.
I built out this vapor component while experimenting for a client site. Try it out for free in a hero section, CTA section, or just use it as an ambient persistent background effect on your own site.

I like it when clients allow me to unleash my creativity like this during the iteration process.
I'll be running lots of accessibility audits for one of my clients for the next few days.
Is it fun? No. Is it necessary? Absolutely.
I didn't know some sites could actually be at risk of lawsuits if they are not up to minimum accessibility standards until recently.
Not only are accessible sites good for legal protection, they also inherently improve UX, SEO, and AEO performance due to the proper structuring of the HTML that is required.
Accessibility audits are also one of the best use cases for AI agents that I found so far. They're perfect to handle tedious work like this.
Does anyone know if there any way to feature new sites on my profile?
I recently finished a client project and want to show it on my profile, but I can't find any option to add new sites anywhere. I can only edit or delete the ones that I currently have.
The scan overlays was created with Specimen - Living Scan overlays (Live preview). A powerful Framer component with multiple variations to create unique, eye-catching scan overlays in seconds. If you want to level up your website designs, give it a try :)
For the past few days every time I sit down and open Framer I just end up making another nice component. This one was built by hand the old-fashioned ctrl+alt+k way.
It works surprisingly smoothly on mobile as well. Even when placed inside a ticker stack. I might stress test it a bit more and send it to the marketplace.

The Framer native ticker effect was lacking customization options and was actually bugging out and breaking in many instances so I built this one to make up for it.
Copy and paste it right into any project of yours that needs a logo ticker, upload the logos, and tweak the properties to match the styling of your site. Easy Peasy 🗜🍋💦

Only a few tweaks needed and then it will be ready to ship! 🚢
