LUMINA — Editorial Portfolio for Creative Directors

A bold, editorial-style portfolio template built for creative directors, brand strategists, and design studios who want their work to feel like a statement, not a resume. The homepage opens with a full-bleed, high-contrast hero image paired with oversized kinetic typography, immediately setting a confident, magazine-like tone.

The site is structured around three core sections: a Services block that breaks down offerings (brand identity, web design/development, art direction) in a clean numbered list; a Portfolio grid that showcases case studies with large imagery and short, evocative titles; and a Testimonials carousel with rotating client photos and quotes to build credibility.

Typography leans heavy and expressive, balanced against generous white space and monochrome/black-and-white photography for a polished, high-fashion editorial feel. Dedicated About and Contact pages round out the structure, with a sticky call-to-action ("Get in touch") keeping conversion front and center throughout the scroll.

Everything is built with Framer's native components and property controls, so users can swap copy, imagery, and branding without touching code — while still preserving the sharp, art-directed layout underneath.

Bonus: There are two extra components included on the Resources Design page that may prove useful for further customization.

53:T41f,

My latest @Framer component. Feature Map. Turn any product image into a fun and interactive feature map, with glowing hotspots, that contain features right where the feature lives. With this you can bypass boring bullet points and cards and lets users see the features on your product image.

Need to add multiple products? No problem this component turns into a carousel to support multiple products.

I'm currently having a problem getting the component unto the new marketplace, but you can get this component, by using the link below. Hope you enjoy it.

54:T8a5,

Business-hours CTAs are lying to half your visitors.

Every "we're open/closed" component out there checks one thing: is it currently business hours, in one timezone, for one person.

That's exactly what Conditional CTA v1 does — and does well. DST-safe timezone detection (no manual offset math, handles daylight saving automatically), custom active-day scheduling (weekdays, every day, or fully custom), a dynamic "back at" message that correctly calculates your next opening hour even across non-contiguous schedules, and smooth state transitions between online/offline. It's solid for solo operators and single-location businesses, and it's stayed that way — that mode isn't going anywhere.

But it had one hard limit: it only ever checks one schedule, for one person.

If your co-founder's in London and you're in Lagos, that single-schedule model shows "closed" for 8+ hours a day — even while someone on your team is wide awake and ready to talk. Visitors don't know that. They just see "closed" and leave.

None of the business-hours components I could find solve this. They tell you the status. They don't route the person.

So I've been building v2 on top of the same engine, adding a team mode:

→ Same DST-safe timezone logic, now checked per team member, in their own local time → Routes the CTA to whoever's actually available right now — button dynamically reads "Speak to {name}" → Picks fairly when more than one person's online, so leads don't all stack on one inbox → The "back at {time}" calculation now spans the whole team — shows the earliest anyone's back, not just one person's schedule → Solo mode still exists as a simple on/off toggle — team routing is additive, not a replacement

Also used this update to fix some accessibility gaps in the original: full keyboard navigation, screen-reader announcements on status changes, and respect for reduced-motion preferences.

55:T796,

Most typewriter effects type like a robot — same speed, same rhythm, zero personality. This one doesn't.

Key Stroke adds real texture to on-screen typing: randomized speed per character so it never feels metronomic, natural pauses after punctuation, and occasional keyboard-adjacent typos that get noticed and corrected mid-sentence — just like real typing.

Built-in Heading + Subheading Sequencing means your subheading only starts once the heading finishes, with a configurable delay in between. No Overrides, no linking separate instances — just fill in two text fields.

Optional Synthesized Keyboard Clicks (no audio files, generated on the fly) add an extra layer of realism while typing and deleting. Full alignment control (left, center, right) keeps it flexible for hero sections, cards, or full-width layouts.

What You Can Control

Heading & subheading text, independently styled (color, size, font — pulled straight from your project's font library) – Typing speed and jitter – Typo frequency – Punctuation pause timing – Cursor style (block, line, underscore) and blink – Start trigger: on load, on scroll into view, or on click – Loop on/off with custom delay – Line gap and text alignment – Optional keyboard click sound with volume control

Every control includes a short description right in the panel, so nothing requires guesswork.

A Note on Sound

Browsers block audio until a visitor interacts with the page. If your trigger is set to load or scroll, the very first run may be silent until they click anywhere on the page — this is standard browser behavior, not a bug.

Built as a single custom code component for smooth performance and easy duplication across your project.

56:T426,

Wanted to flag an experience in case others have run into similar.

My latest component Conditional CTA V2 was taken down from the Marketplace on July 5th. No reason given. I emailed support that same day and got a reply within 4 minutes — but it was a generic message saying my request was already being handled in an existing conversation and asking me not to open new ones. No confirmation of what the actual issue was, no technical details, nothing about why it was taken down.

It's now been 3 days since that reply. I followed up again and still haven't gotten anything concrete on what needs to be fixed.

I get that reviews take time. But I can't fix what I don't know is broken, and every day it stays down is lost visibility on something I built and sell. Curious if others have gone through a similar takedown and how long it took to actually get the technical breakdown.

@Framer

Small win worth celebrating 🎉

Today I made my first-ever Marketplace sale.

The product is FeatureMap—an animated hotspot pins component I built to make product images more interactive. It wasn't a client project or commissioned work, just an idea I believed would be useful enough to ship.

That first sale is a reminder that you don't always have to wait for permission to build something. Put it out there, keep improving it, and eventually someone might find value in it.

I'm genuinely grateful to this community. I've learned so much from the people here, and seeing everyone share their work has been a huge motivation to keep building.

My next milestone is 10 Marketplace sales. If you're curious about what I'm building, feel free to stop by my profile and take a look. If FeatureMap or anyone of my components could be useful for one of your projects, I'd be honored to have you join me on that journey.

Thanks again to everyone who's helped me get this far. On to the next milestone. 🚀

One month ago today I made my first sale on the @framer marketplace. Wanted to share the honest numbers.

$14.13 gross revenue, $11.80 net. $0 spent — no ads, just building and posting.

Small, but a real start.

Still figuring out the right strategy for month two — I'm not locked into an approach yet.

Curious what's worked for others in their first month (or first few) selling here. What moved the needle for you — and what didn't?

FeatureMap is officially live on the Framer Marketplace.

Founders spend weeks explaining their product. FeatureMap does it faster — animated hotspot pins that guide attention right on the image. Drop it in, point to what matters, ship.

Took longer than expected to get here, but it's done.

Quick one for other Marketplace sellers on Polar —

Default "Location-based" tax setting means EU/UK buyers get VAT baked into your listed price, so you eat it out of your own revenue instead of them paying it on top. "Exclusive" fixes that, but bumps the checkout price for EU buyers.

What's everyone running — Location-based, Exclusive, or something else? And has anyone tested how it affects EU conversion?

Sale #2 for Tilt Card Group landed 🎉

Road to 10 marketplace sales: 3/10 — slow and steady.

(Also shout out to Dutch VAT for showing up uninvited and taking its cut before the money even hits my account 😅)

Curious what everyone else has been building/shipping/selling — drop your wins from the past week or weekend below 👇 Big or small, let's hear it.

Small win to share — just got another sale on Tilt Card Group 🙌

If you haven't tried it: it's a 3D tilt card component with depth + glow built in, no extra config. Been fun watching builders drop it into founder/product sites where a flat card just wasn't doing the job.

190+ installs and counting. Always curious what people end up pairing it with — drop a link if you've used it somewhere, would love to see it in the wild.

Coming soon: a typewriter effect that doesn't type like a robot

Working on a typing-text component that adds real texture instead of the usual flat, fixed-speed reveal — randomized jitter, punctuation pacing, the occasional typo that gets caught and corrected mid-sentence. Heading and subheading sequencing built in too.

Finalizing details before it hits the Marketplace.

Drop a comment if there's a typing-text feature you've always wished existed.

Conditional CTA V2 got pulled from the Marketplace. Reached out to support over 24 hours ago — got a reply confirming they're working on it, but no specifics on what needs fixing yet.

Not complaining about the review process itself — just flagging the info gap. Hard to fix what you can't see.

Anyone dealt with this before? Curious how long the technical breakdown usually takes to land.
