We checked 247 US accounting, bookkeeping, CPA and fractional-CFO firm homepages (October 2026, one homepage each). If you design sites for finance clients, the gaps are remarkably consistent:

79% had no online scheduling link. 81% didn't link to a pricing or fees page. 39% offered neither a way to book nor any pricing. 40% run on WordPress and 18% on DIY builders.

The fixes that would move these sites most are unglamorous: a booking link in the header, a "from" price on each service, one case study per core service, and one primary call to action per page.

Curious whether this matches what other designers see with accounting clients.

Just published Folistead Starter: a free Framer template for accounting, bookkeeping and fractional-CFO firms.

It's cut down from our paid template but complete on its own: 8 pages, a Services CMS with a page for every service, FAQs, booking and contact. It fits Framer's Basic plan.

The part we're testing: it ships with Framer Agent Skills. Paste a firm's details and run /folistead-setup. In our internal test, an agent rebranded the full Pro version for a fictional CFO firm in about 28 minutes, and the skills are written to never invent testimonials, results or credentials.

If you build sites for accountants (or you are one), I'd really like to hear what's missing for real client work.
