Day 3 of building Framer templates with AI ONLY.

AI's research dictated that a slide-by-slide pitch deck template would be best. So I asked it to write the exact prompts to give to Framer Agent to build it all.

It gave me 19 prompts that started from setting up the design system all the way to micro interactions.

The result wasn't bad for a start. I ran the 19 prompts one after the other without checking the results and it managed to build a slide-by-slide style page, animations, micro interactions, complex components, and more..

Still very far from a high quality template that converts into $. My goal here is to see how much manual work and design direction it would require from me to get it to that level.

IMPORTANT - I did not give the AI any design direction or references AT ALL before it gave me these prompts. This is all raw AI design, which I was expecting to look worse and more robotic.

Next step: Go back to the AI, give it structured and detailed design direction with references, and asking it to give a set of new prompts to adjust the design.

Want to see how that goes?

Follow along, update tomorrow.

53:T58b,

Why I'm building a pitch deck template for Framer

I used an AI to audit the Framer marketplace and find me opportunities for niche categories.

The options that caught my eyes was Pitch Deck templates for startups/founders. There are barely any templates available, low quality, and founders are on every corner these days, building with AI.

That's it. That's the competitive landscape.

The top Framer template creators are earning $10K-$40K/month. The category has demand, the bar is low, and I think I can clear it.

I'm starting with investor pitch decks. The current alternatives make founders either rent a Figma file, pay a designer, or wrestle with PowerPoint. Framer deserves a better option. Maybe a slide-by-slide landing page, easy to customize, has all elements a pitch deck needs, and actually looks good out of the box.

This is my build-in-public thread. I'll be sharing progress, decisions, and what's working. If you want early access when the template drops, follow along.

Fair warning: this is AI-assisted work. I use it for the heavy lifting on structure and iteration, then I review and approve everything. "AI-designed, designer-approved" isn't a buzzword here, it's how I ship fast without cutting corners.

Curious what you'd want in a pitch deck template. Drop it in the comments.

Elevate your feature presentations with Card Reveal—a sophisticated, interactive component that transforms how visitors discover what you offer. Say goodbye to static grids and hello to an engaging, user-controlled exploration experience.

What makes it special:

Card Reveal brings your features to life through fluid, polished animations. When a visitor clicks a card, it elegantly expands to reveal detailed content—text, images, and more—while other cards smoothly shrink to make space. This dynamic interaction keeps users engaged while maintaining a clean, uncluttered layout. Every transition feels premium and intentional, creating a memorable browsing experience.

Flexible and customizable:

Start with the default 2-card layout, or expand to 3 cards for more content. Each card supports custom images, icons, titles, and detailed descriptions. The component comes with a mobile-optimized variant that ensures perfect functionality across all devices.

For 3-card setups: adjust the first card's width inside the expanded variants, then create additional variants showing each card in its expanded form with the others shrunk. If you need assistance setting this up, feel free to get in touch—I'm happy to help.

Responsive by design:

Built with mobile users in mind, Card Reveal includes dedicated variants for smaller screens, ensuring your features look stunning whether viewed on desktop, tablet, or phone.

Ideal for:

Product feature showcases
Service offering highlights
Platform capability demonstrations
Solution benefit presentations
Technology stack overviews
Pricing tier comparisons
Team or department introductions
Process or methodology breakdowns
Case study highlights
Before/after transformations

Perfect for:

Startups looking to make a strong first impression, SaaS companies highlighting product capabilities, agencies showcasing services, and any business that wants to present multiple features in an elegant, space-efficient way.

Simply add Card Reveal to your Framer project, swap in your content and images, customize the styling to match your brand, and watch your features come alive. Whether you're highlighting two key differentiators or three main services, this component adapts to your storytelling needs.

55:Tb11,

Overview

This component creates a dramatic scroll-based animation: A stack of images, or any other component types can be added to the content, and as the user scrolls through the page, the images scatter outward, shrink and rotate at your control. Can be used to progressively uncover content hidden underneath the component, or as a standalone dramatic image effect.

How it works

You simply add images or content from your canvas to the component, adjust the component settings to your liking and you're good to go!

Key features

8 overlapping square images or any other content from your canvas (layered above each other)
Scroll-driven scatter + scale down + rotation of components
Scroll start and scroll end controls.
Adjustable scatter intensity via slider
Adjustable start and end sizes - perfect for screen responsiveness.
Adjustable rotation animation.
Animation easing control.
Corner radius controls
Default component height: dynamic based on your 'Start Size' values.

Animation timeline control

The 'Scroll Start' and 'Scroll End' fields dictate when the animation starts and stops.

Scroll Start = 0 - means the animation will start immediately when the component enters the screen.

Scroll End = 1 - means the animation end when the component leaves the screen.

For best results, it's recommended to set the Scroll Start to ~0.3, so that the top image is initially visible on it's own, and the Scroll End to ~0.6 so the animation is entirely visible before the component leaves the screen.

That's only a recommendation and you should feel free to achieve the effect you want for yourself:)

Tips for best results

Use images with similar lighting/contrast so the scatter looks cohesive.
Use components like stacks with text, just make sure the components look good on all screen sizes.
Use scatter 80-100 for most sites; 200 is bold and attention-grabbing.
Add a layer with some impactful content in a stack with the component, set it's position to absolute, and add a Scroll Transform effect to it connected to a Scroll Section located below this stack. This will achieve the effect seen in the preview.

If you have any questions or need help setting up the component, feel free to hit me up:)

I'm starting a build-in-public series and I want Framer folks to follow along.

Here's the deal: I'm launching a Framer templates branch under Bad Ant Studio. AI handles the repetitive work. A professional design eye handles everything else. Flow, hierarchy, the stuff that makes a template actually usable.

The question I'm testing: can that combination produce templates that feel premium without the premium price tag? And is that useful to creators in here?

I'm going to document the whole process here. Not just finished templates, but the research behind them, the design decisions, and the actual building.

Let's give this a go.
