About Zero Hour

A countdown for Framer that means one moment for everyone: a date, a time and a time zone, so 17:00 in London is the same instant for a visitor in Tokyo and one in New York.

Under the digits it says the moment in words, "Friday 4 December, 17:00 London time", and what that is on the visitor's own clock when it differs. Daylight saving comes from the browser's own time zone data.

Set it to repeat daily or weekly for cut-offs and weekly drops: at zero it rolls to the next one on the wall clock, so a 15:00 cut-off stays at 15:00 across a clock change. A one-off countdown ends with a message and an optional button, hides, or holds at zero.

The page's HTML never carries a number that was true when you published: the digits arrive once the page runs, so the server's HTML and the browser agree. It ticks on the second, sleeps while hidden or off screen, and wakes on the right number.

A screen reader hears one sentence, "3 days, 4 hours and 12 minutes left", instead of a live region every second. Set Language to auto and the unit words follow the visitor's browser. Reduced motion stills the digits.

Boxes or plain, left or centred, separators, which units show, a phone digit size measured on the component's own width, fonts and every colour are controls.
