About Table Stakes
A data table from your spreadsheet. Paste rows copied from Google Sheets, Excel or Numbers, or a CSV, or give it a Google Sheet link and it reads the sheet live, showing the pasted rows until the sheet arrives.
Numbers and dates sort by value, written the way your sheet writes them: £1,284,500 or 1.249,00 €, 12% or 18,5 %, 14 Mar 2019, 2026-03-14 or 14.03.2026. The decimal mark is read per column, whether a date is day or month first is proved from the column itself, and a missing value (-, n/a) sorts last in both directions. Codes like 007 stay text.
Press a heading to sort: rising, falling, then back to your order. Search across every cell, with the count announced to screen readers. Pages, a totals row written the way the column writes its numbers, links in cells, a header that stays in view when you set a height, and below a width you choose, every row becomes a card.
Real table markup with a caption, a sort button in each header and aria-sort, so keyboards and screen readers work. Pasted rows are in the page's HTML before any script runs.
Fonts, every colour, density, stripes and every word are controls. A line with a stray comma, or a number column with a stray word, is flagged on the canvas, never guessed.
