Curtain Call

A full screen menu that is your own canvas frame. Design the open menu on the canvas, any layout you like, with big links, pictures and buttons, connect it to Menu, and the button opens it over the page.

It behaves like a dialog. Focus moves into the menu and stays there while it is open, Escape closes it and hands focus back to the button, and the page behind can't be pressed and, unless you switch it off, can't be scrolled. A press on a link in the menu closes it too.

It marks the page you are on. The menu's link to the page being shown is underlined or coloured by itself, from Framer's own page links, and tells a screen reader it is the current page.

The iris reveal opens the menu out of the button itself; slide and fade are there too, and a visitor who asks for reduced motion gets none. Fill the window, or keep your frame at its own size at a side, over a backdrop, as a drawer.

Label, icon, button colours and font, the close button's label and side, a window width above which the button hides (in the page's own stylesheet, not by script) and the current link's mark are controls.

After purchase you receive the component URL. In Framer, press Insert, choose Add Component URL, and paste it.
