About Portfolio by Kanishk

I’ve been building this portfolio as an extension of how I approach design itself. Simple, intentional, and a little unexpected. I wanted it to feel less like a traditional portfolio and more like stepping into my workspace. Every part of it is designed to quickly show what I do, how I think, and the kind of work I create without making you dig through endless case studies. The goal was to keep the interface minimal while letting the work do most of the talking.

I work across brand identity, web design, and product design, so I wanted the portfolio to bring those disciplines together instead of separating them into neat little boxes. I’ve also been experimenting with motion, interaction, layouts, and small details that make the experience feel more personal. The side panel keeps the important information within reach while the projects take over the rest of the screen, creating a balance between context and work.

I designed the portfolio in Figma, built it in Framer, and treated the whole thing as a real product rather than just a collection of screenshots. Even the small details like typography, spacing, transitions, project presentation, and the way information appears while scrolling are there to make the experience feel considered.

I also wanted the portfolio to reflect the kind of clients I enjoy working with. Founders and teams who are building something new and need someone who can help shape both the brand and the product around it. Rather than presenting myself as someone who simply delivers visuals, I wanted the portfolio to communicate that I’m involved from the messy first idea to the final polished website.
