About La Jolla

La Jolla — Real Estate Website

I redesigned and rebuilt an existing Figma design for La Jolla, a real estate website, translating the approved visual direction into a fully functional and responsive Framer website. My role focused on taking the existing design system and bringing it to life on the web while improving its usability, responsiveness, and interactive experience.

My approach was to stay faithful to the original design while making the necessary adjustments for a real-world web environment. I refined the layouts, spacing, typography, and visual hierarchy to ensure the design translated effectively across different screen sizes. I also adapted individual sections where necessary to create a more consistent experience between desktop, tablet, and mobile.

A major part of the project was adding interaction and motion to make the website feel more dynamic and engaging. I implemented smooth transitions, interactive elements, and responsive behaviors while keeping the animations purposeful and aligned with the overall visual direction. The goal was to add movement without compromising the clean and professional character expected from a real estate website.

I also focused heavily on the mobile experience, restructuring and adjusting sections where needed so that the website remained easy to navigate and visually balanced on smaller screens. This included adapting layouts, content hierarchy, spacing, and interactive elements to work naturally across different viewport sizes.

The final result is a polished Framer website that maintains the original Figma design direction while extending it into a responsive and interactive digital experience. The project demonstrates my ability to take an existing design, translate it accurately into Framer, and enhance it with responsive layouts, interactions, and thoughtful UX improvements across desktop and mobile.
