Jude Gabriel Nelson

I designed and developed a cinematic portfolio website for Jude Gabriel Nelson, an editor and videographer working across documentary, narrative, commercial, music, and short-form film.

The main goal was to create a portfolio that feels more like a film experience than a traditional personal website. I focused on letting the work take center stage, using large visual previews, minimal typography, and a clean editorial structure to create an immersive browsing experience.

The website organizes Jude’s work by category while keeping navigation simple and intuitive. Each project has its own dedicated page with relevant credits, project details, and visual content, allowing visitors to quickly understand Jude’s role and explore the work in greater depth.

I also paid close attention to pacing, spacing, transitions, and visual hierarchy so the interface feels consistent with the cinematic nature of the portfolio. The result is a minimal, image-led website that presents the work professionally while maintaining a distinctive creative personality.
